One reason we love curating this website for our members is because we get to learn about new products from our social media influencers just like you do. When Francesca from @cescadarling put her list together we'll admit LXMI was new to us, even though it shouldn't have been because its been on every beauty blogger must have list since last year. As soon as we connected with LXMI and even before we tried all the products, their social mission had us hooked.
Meet Leila Janah, the founder and creator of LXMI. She came across the signature ingredient of Nilotica at a market in Uganda and knew it was something special. According to Janah the ingredient transformed her moisture deprived, travel weary skin into something much more luminous.
She quickly got to work trying to bring what she thought was a new skincare secret to the rest of the world. A lot has happened since that day in the market. LXMI is currently working with women in East Africa to harvest, produce and export Nilotica.
The Nilotica used in LXMI's products come from the highest grade nuts in the most pristine areas of the Nile River Valley and are sky high in essential fatty acids that dissolve on the skin.
